On the previous posting, I wrote a brief description of One-to-one marketing concept and it’s about the attention to individual not mass.
We are living “the information age.” Actually, this one-to-one marketing came to the world because we need it. We are very fortunate that we can do all the research instantly with the Internet and other resources. The convenience and availability of information is almost incredible. That is one of the reasons why people say we are living in the information age. However, as more information became available, we start facing a new problem. Which is too much information.
in the book, Positioning(Al Ries, and Jack Trout), it described that people don’t remember the message from advertisement because people are exposed too much information. It explains why people start ignoring commercials and advertisements. Can you remember what TV commercial have you watched yesterday? When is the last time you saw ads? Most people say “ah…. on the internet..” I don’t remember the last advertisement I saw or heard.
If we have that much of information, how do we choose? How do we actually buy products and services. I remember a teenager. I have been always a careful buyer. When I wanted to buy something, I compared the price and features of the product and different stores. Then I bought it. I was confident I bought the best price and the best product for my option.
But, my options of comparison was just few, maybe 4-5 stores. But now what? You can INSTANTLY can visit different websites and compare so many products at so many stores. Don’t you sometimes get tired by doing comparing. I almost feel wasting my time sometimes.
Don’t misunderstand me. More information is definitely better than fewer of it. But, we might be tired. And, businesses are proving so much information to compare with. It’s almost like these business gave up on you. In stead of they care about you. They simply say “Here is all the information you need, YOU compare and decide. Let me know!” That’s really what is happening right now.
That’s why One-to-one marketing is the next trend. one-to-one marketers(customer managers) are specialists who pay attention to small number of customers and provides products and services what customers need. It’s win-win for both customers and marketers. marketers need to only care about few people’s need by giving personal attention. It means if you have customers who are only in 50’s. you don’t have to care what 20 year old people want. You only focus what 50’s people want and need and provide to them. customers appreciate the customer manager’s personal care because these managers understand and look for what they want for them. Eventually these managers build a strong relationship with customers. Mangers don’t have SELL but can close sell much easier. And customers TRUST what managers offer them.
I will write more about One-to-One marketing
In recent years, people started talking about One-To-One marketing.
this is a new paradigm shift. We all know mass-marketing and mass producing.
At the same time, some of us know it becomes less effective everyday.
Some study shows less than 30% of consumers actually trusts mass advertising. Consumers have been educated more and more. They can research information very easily and quickly through the Internet. We are middle of the marketing paradigm shift. In stead of spreading the same massage to the mass, customers enjoy individual attention. This is where One-To-One marketing starts.
The basic concept of One-To-One marketing focuses on individual not number of people. By building a relationship between the retailers and the consumers, the retailers can easily promote and sell more products to fewer number of customers. Customers feel more comfortable buying products from someone who they can trust and have a relationship with. Retailers treat every customers differently. They provide personalized solutions for each customer.
Day 1 starts again, I couldn’t follow the system exactly last few months. I was eating wrong food, and didn’t follow transitions’ lifestyle. Here i am, starting vegetable detox week.
For today, I ate warm water with lemon to digest my stomach first, ate some nuts for snack and lunch.
and I had boiled Asian style vegetable dish for dinner.
I hosted the Robert Kiyosaki’s Cashflow game at my house.
We started at 1 p.m. and spent a few hours to finish. We had a variety of the guest today.
The proficients are from different professional background.
I am glad everybody enjoyed the cashflow game and we all learned a lot of about money.
The networking is one of the important part of this event, they met and introduced each other. Because we spend few hours together, it’s very easy to get a long.
I will host this event in monthly bases and I am looking forward to see all of them again, soon.
I stayed my friend’s place last night so I couldn’t do my workout. But today, I am back on track!
exercise : Stretch
I spent 1 hour to stretch my body since this is a recovery week, I work on my body ready for phase II(next week) Stretch changes your body. Without it, you body become stiff and you can’t reach or twist your body, In a way, it works like a fat guy. And, being not-flexible causes injury easier. You might accidentally twist your arm by working out.
it says “making a result, not hurting yourself.”
MEALS:
I had my non-fat yogurt as usual. But somehow my yogurt had strange smell, so i had to throw away and opened the new one. I think i am getting tired of it.
For lunch, I had vegetable mix
And I ate a BBQ chicken salad for dinner.
Note:
This is amazing… since I know what kind of food I should eat and not to eat. I simply make more conscious choices. by doing Transitions 90 days program, I learned so much about food and how it impacts my body and my body composition. And the best of all, I am not stressed!!!
One of Transition products, CLA(Conjugated Linoleic Acid) helps burn fat around your belly, hip and chest. This product produce the maximum result when you regularly exercise because exercise triggers burning fat.
Hi,
It’s day 21st. It feels much longer. Not because it’s hard but because it’s been busy.
I am glad that I went through Thanksgiving day without a huge stress. and I chose to have vegetarian dinner, so there was almost no fat.
Yes, last 3 days I was taking break from workout, but I did stretch yesterday(Sunday).
And today, this is the last week of P90x phase 1. This week is a recovery week. In the regular week, I typically do upper body workout, but this week, the program suggests to do yoga.
Actually Yoga is one of my favorite part of P90x program. I can be flexible and make my mind clear too.
MEALS:
I had a vegetarian breakfast(I am not a vegetarian).
I eat a transition meal for lunch because I stayed out side.
And for dinner, I had greek salad at Panera bread.
Well, I eat some non-fat yogurt at home after that.
although many people work out to build their muscle and stay in shape, not many people do strech.
Stretching is REALLY important for your body.
- If you build muscle but don’t strech, your muscle become too tight so you can’t move like you used to
- working out without stretch more likely leads to injury.
- You can become more flexible by stretching regularly.
There is a common miss conception that you become less flexible as you become old. You can be flexible if you stretch.
